Nudj Health
Summary
Nudj is a healthcare platform designed to deliver comprehensive patient care by integrating software and hardware technologies for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). It empowers healthcare providers with enhanced tools to monitor and manage patient health more effectively.
I was responsible for translating product requirements into user-centered design solutions. This included creating UX artifacts such as sitemaps, user flows, and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes. These deliverables helped structure content and interactions, and were collaboratively validated and refined with designers and engineers throughout the product development process.
Challenge
Although Nudj was built to support patient monitoring, our primary users were actually caregivers, nurses, and hospital managers tasked with managing multiple patients daily. The initial architecture was too general and didn't align with the way caregivers prioritize tasks, assess risk, or track patient progress.
To solve this, we conducted contextual interviews and sessions with professional caregivers and doctors to understand their workflows, pain points, and decision-making patterns. Based these findings, we have designed the dashboard to surface the most critical information first, such as urgent alerts, medication adherence, and recent vitals deviations, while still allowing quick access to full patient histories when needed.
Outcome
The information hierarchy supported triage-style care management, enabling caregivers to act faster and more confidently. We validated the updated layouts through rapid prototyping and testing sessions, resulting in a measurable improvement in task efficiency and caregiver satisfaction.
